Miranda Hoover, MPA, recently joined Capitol Partners. She studied at UNR where she earned a Master of Public Administration specializing in Healthcare Policy and Leadership as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Sciences specializing in Public Health with emphasis in Dietetics, Geriatrics and Behavioral Health. Her experience includes working on SB 206 during the 2015 legislative session relative to revising anatomical gifts; Nevada Legislative Assistant for the Senate Majority Office; overseeing the Committee on Finance and Government Affairs; Nevada Rural Hospital Partners (NRHP) Emergency Management Services (EMS) Research and Policy Analysis. In 2016 Ms. Hoover provided consulting and project management with the Silver State Health Exchange. In 2017 she was associated with the Occupational Health private practice (Able-Bodies) and provided policy and licensing review and analysis. During 2018 she conducted the Infection Prevention Committee review with Infectious Disease Director at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. Since 2012 Ms. Hoover has been involved with a multitude of Nevada campaigns and election teams providing nonpartisan support on issues such as health and safety.
